DIY Essential Oil Recipes Guide
Aromatherapy Recipes with Essential Oils Guide with 150+ Easy & Effective Recipe Blends by Jennifer Lane, Loving Essential Oils Owner & Certified Aromatherapist:
How to Use Essential Oil for Motivation
Inhaling certain scents can give you an energy boost and get you moving. Here are some of the best ways to use essential oils for motivation.
Diffuse Oils
One easy way to enjoy motivational essential oils is with an essential oil diffuser. Try diffusing any of the single oils in the list above. See what works for you and what aroma inspires you. I have also included some diffuser blends below for you to try.
Apply Oils to Skin
Use essential oils topically on wrists, neck, shoulders, or upper chest. This way, you can inhale them as you go about your day. Be sure to use properly diluted essential oils with a carrier oil.
The recommended level is a 2% dilution for a healthy adult. That equals about 12 drops of essential oils per one ounce of carrier oil.
If using a 10 ml roller bottle, for a 2% dilution, you only need 4 drops of essential oil. For a 5% dilution, you only need 10 drops of essential oil. Add one of the essential oils for motivation to an empty glass roll on the bottle, and top the bottle off with a carrier oil like jojoba oil.
Roller bottles are convenient and easy to make. Check out our motivated roll-on recipe below.
Wear an Essential Oil Necklace
While many people love using essential oils, not everyone does. An essential oil diffuser necklace lets users keep the aroma in their personal space. This is one reason I love essential oil jewelry.
