We love Aromatherapy Eye Pillows! What are they you might ask? They are just another perfect way to incorporate your Essential Oils into your daily life.
Aromatherapy eye pillows can be heated and placed over your eyes. Let the warmth, gentle pressure, and natural aroma from your essential oils soothe and relax you.
We prefer to use flax seeds in our eye pillows instead of rice, here's why.
Why Flax Seed Instead of Rice?
We have found that rice not only has a cooked grain smell to it when heated but it also doesn’t hold the heat for very long. Flax seed is known to hold heat longer, and it evenly distributes pressure making it soothing on your face and eyes.
Each Pillow is filled with the perfect amount of Whole Flax Seed.
How to Use Aromatherapy Eye Pillows
Our Eye Pillow has our Suede Logo Tag attached to it that allows you to diffuse essential oils while using your aromatherapy eye pillow.
You can heat your Eye Pillow in the Microwave for 30 seconds or until desired warmth, then place 1-2 drops of your essential oil of choice to the Suede Tag.
Tip: If you don’t have a microwave like us, heat your oven on 300*, place your Pillow in a glass dish with a lid on top and place it in your oven for 10 minutes. Check it frequently and rotate it to be sure it doesn’t burn and has an even temperature.
There are many other uses for the Eye Pillow that will quickly allow it to become a staple in your home.
You can use it for That Time Of The Month, it makes a great hot or cold compress that soothes aches and pains or cramps.
When using it cold, simply put your Pillow in a zip lock bag and place it in the freezer.
They are great to use for Yoga and Meditation as well.
Can You Wash the Eye Pillow?
You CAN NOT wash the Eye Pillow but, we do offer removable covers for your Eye Pillows to keep them nice and clean. Just place your removable cover in a laundry bag and wash on delicate.
Oils We Love to Use
Peppermint Oil: For headaches, we love one drop of peppermint diffused on the suede tag.
Eucalyptus Oil: They are great to use for Sinus pressure, simply add one drop of Eucalyptus to the Diffusing Tag.
Lavender Oil: If you just want to relax or need a restful nights sleep, you can add a drop of Lavender to the Suede Tag.

Cowgrl Creations - How We Got Started
We are a Mother/Daughter team, based out of our home, who personally sew every item that is in our shop! We love the country life!
We are passionate about our horses, we love being outdoors, growing our own vegetables, and living a natural, health conscious lifestyle.
We have always had a love for Essential Oils, and we wanted to be able to carry them with us when we were "On The Go". We found ourselves just tossing them in our purse, only to find that when we needed an oil we couldn’t find it.
So, we put our heads together and created our Insert which has individual pockets for each oil bottle. This not only protects your bottles but it holds them upright and keeps them easily accessible in your purse, makeup bag, etc.
On a whim we added them to our Instagram and quickly had a lot of interested customers. So we added them to our Etsy shop and our little business was born!
From there we have grown and expanded our product line to include our Aromatherapy Eye Pillows as well as many more items. We have carefully chosen all of our fabrics for our products to represent the romantic countryside and that elegant shabby chic feel.
